Your day-to-day as a Field Service Technician
Out in the field, on our own machines
As a Field Service Technician / Machine Operator (m/f/d), you operate and look after our company-owned track processing machines on outdoor assignments for railway and transport companies – usually in Germany, occasionally elsewhere in Europe.

Operation, maintenance & care
After your onboarding, you operate our special machines for track processing on outdoor assignments and take care of the maintenance and upkeep of our company-owned vehicles and track equipment.

Measuring work on the track
You carry out measuring work on the track and evaluate the results – before and after processing.

Job preparation & documentation
You help prepare the assignments, document the work results and write the reports on your assignments.

Working in special machinery manufacturing
Between assignments, you help out in our special machinery manufacturing in Neustadt an der Orla – depending on your experience and qualifications.
What you bring
Technically skilled and happy to travel
Technical qualification
A completed skilled-trade apprenticeship, e.g. as a mechatronics technician, metalworker, electrician, electronics technician, mechanic, machinist or vehicle technician – or as a construction equipment operator or professional driver (m/f/d).
Hands-on thinking
You have a strong technical understanding as well as an independent, structured and thoroughly solution-oriented way of working.
Willingness to travel
You enjoy being on the road – mostly within Germany, occasionally elsewhere in Europe – and bring the time flexibility this requires.
Language & driving licence
You have usable English skills for technical communication in an international environment, as well as a valid category B driving licence.
Team spirit
You are a strong communicator and work absolutely reliably both independently and as part of a team.
